Circus Shots

Happy Fourth!

Over the years the fourth of July has become one of my favorite family fun holidays. We took the kids and both sets of grandparents to a local parade. The streets lined with children and American flags reminded me of something out of a movie. It felt like home town America. My favorite part is always when the Veteran’s march past. As I stand and clap and cheer, I can’t hold in the tears of gratitude for these men and woman who deserve honor and recognition.

A Night on the Town

Here are my boys enjoying a beautiful evening out downtown. For more Wordless Wednesdays, click here.

A Day at the Beach

I just couldn’t resist sharing these pics from our recent trip to the beach. For more Wordless Wednesday’s, visit 5 Minutes for Mom.

The Circus Cast Grew (temporarily)

Isn’t this a great picture? It’s just a down to earth action shot of us all eating dinner. It’s me and my one, two, three, four?, five?…. wait a minute, that’s too many. Your right, I only have three kids but we gained two new members to our circus cast this weekend as we watched the children of our very good friends while they went away for their anniversary. I got to experience life with 5 under 4 for a day and overnight!

Come Play With Us

I was cooking dinner last week, when the kids called out from the toy box, “Mom, don’t you want to get us out and play with us?” For More Wordless Wednesdays, check out 5 Minutes for Mom. To learn more about me, check out [my 100th post!] (http://lifeatthecircus.com/2008/06/17/my-100th-post/)

Missing One VERY Important Item

Last weekend my husband picked my daughter up and noticed she was incredibly wet. He commented that someone must have put her diaper on wrong (Since I was the grownup home at last diaper change, the blame obviously fell to me). I muttered something about those stupid diapers not absorbing properly. Check out her look of disappointment. (MOM, you let me down)! My husband called me in to check out what went wrong with the diaper…
