Our College has an alumni book which they publish quarterly. In the back is a section where they put baby pics of the alumni’s children (wearing their GCC shirts of course).
When our son was born we were so excited to contact the school and get our tee shirt. I remember taking the picture when he was around 10 mths old. Our hard drive crashed the next day and while we did eventually get all the pictures back, when we did that GCC pic was no longer in the fore front of my mind.
Look who’s facing forward now!
(Yes, I know she’s been legal for 2 mths now, but I read somewhere it was technically safer to face backwards as long as possible, so we delayed turning her around).
Her response, “Hey! Where’d my brother and sister go? Now I have to stare at the back of Mommy and Daddy’s head!”

I gotta confess from the start, this is not quite Wordless.
As I was tidying up the house during nap time this week, I found this in my kitchen. I bent down to pick them up and decided to snap a quick picture first. Because some day, my kids will be grown and in school, and I won’t find half dressed baby dolls lying on the floor beside toy guns with my vacuum attachment stuck on top to turn it into a light saber.

My son is an individual. Despite the fact that his parents are crazy football fans and could care less about baseball, he decided when he was about 2 that he loved baseball. He’d willingly sit and watch it on TV. We’ve even Tivoed a few games for him or let him watch portions of Sports Center. We’ve taken him to a few minor league games in the past, but tonight we took our oldest two children to their first Major League Baseball Game.

Here is what happens when you let your two year old go swimming without one of those handy, dandy swimmy diapers. We brought one along on our trip to the pond this weekend, but didn’t feel like going through the effort of taking off her bathing suit and changing her diaper.
“How much water will the diaper collect, anyway?” We naively thought.
Apparently, these Luvs diapers can hold quite a bit.

Yesterday my son called for me to, “Come quick Mom and look, she’s so cute!”
… I think he’s got a good eye, don’t you?

My son was so excited about the favor we brought home from my friend’s wedding a few weeks ago. They gave out old fashioned root beer in bottles with a home made label. It was his first soda and he was so excited to drink “kid beer” as he called it.
I think he liked the idea of it more than the actual taste. He actually drank most of it the next day when it was flat.
